Road Construction Updates

Vanbebber Drive
All traffic on Vanbebber Drive is currently restricted to one-way eastbound. This restriction will last through the end of the year or until completion of the project. Motorists should proceed with caution in the area due to construction activities and equipment, and obey all warning signs within the limits of the construction project from Denton Tap Rd. to Heartz Rd. Willow Springs Dr.

Reconstruction of Willow Springs Drive is underway. One-way traffic from Woodhurst to Sandy Knoll is effect. Improvement designs to the underground utilities, street and sidewalks was completed in-house as part of the 1/4-cent sales tax 2010 street maintenance initiative. The contract for the Willow Springs Drive reconstruction project was awarded to RKM Utility Services in August 2012. Deforest Rd. Update

A temporary traffic signal was erected at the intersection of Allen Road and Deforest Road on Thursday, September 27th and will be operational for a period of 28 days. Deforest Road traffic will continue to be one-way eastbound from MacArthur Boulevard to Allen Road. Deforest east of Allen Road will maintain a two-way traffic pattern. Please observe traffic laws and proceed with caution in the area.
