Coppell Holiday Celebration Parade Applications Available Print E-mail

Official Holiday Kickoff-Sat. Dec. 3

You are invited to enjoy the annual Holiday Parade on Sat., Dec. 3, beginning at 6:30 p.m.  This year’s parade theme is “A Hometown Holiday!”  Unique, lighted parade entries will wind their way through the nighttime streets of Coppell celebrating the holidays and passing on good cheer to parade attendees.

Gather your organization, business, family and friends to register your parade entry today! There is no charge; however, all organizations must complete a registration form by Monday, November 21 and have a representative at the mandatory parade meeting on Monday, November 28.

All parade entries must have a minimum of 200 lights. Parade applications are due to the Parks and Recreation Department by 5 p.m. on Mon., Nov. 21. Applications can be downloaded from the City’s website at coppelltx.gov.  A Parade Application” button is located on the left navigation bar. Late entries will not be accepted.  A representative from each entry will be required to attend a mandatory pre-parade meeting on Mon., Nov. 28 at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Center, 255 Parkway Blvd.  Parade float winners will be honored during the parade and tree lighting.

The parade begins at the intersection of Parkway Blvd. and Samuel Rd.  The parade route proceeds west on Parkway Blvd. to Town Center.  Intersections will be temporarily closed as the parade passes through.  Immediately following the parade, join the fun at the annual Holiday Celebration in the Plaza behind  Town Center, 255 Parkway Blvd.
