Coppell Code of Ordinances Article 6-2 regulates home solicitations, charitable solicitations, vending on public rights-of-ways, and handbills. Peddlers and solicitors must obtain a permit from, and register with, the Coppell Police Department. A person desiring that no merchant or other person engage in a home solicitation or place handbills or other advertisement at his/her residence shall exhibit in a conspicuous place upon or near the main entrance to the residence a weatherproof card, not less than three by four inches (3" x 4") containing the word "NO SOLICITORS" (Ordinance No. 97794; Ordinance No. 2002-1009).
