SmartScape And Conserve Water
The North Central Texas Council of Governments offers the Texas SmartScapeTM website to help residents create landscapes that conserve water. This is a valuable website for planning a landscape that conserves water. It contains a database of over 200 native and adaptive plants for North Central Texas and walks you through the steps to create a lush and colorful landscape that uses little water, fertilizers, or pesticides and attracts butterflies and hummingbirds.
