The Coppell Aquatic and Recreation Center offers swim lessons year round for all levels of swimmers. Whether you have a child new to the water or are looking for an opportunity to improve upon some skills, we have private, semi-private, or group lessons that are sure to help achieve your swimming goals.

Pre-School Starfish
|
| |
Swimmers will learn how to put their face in the water and blow bubbles. Float on their front and back, as well as kick on their front and back for support, and will start to develop the basics of freestyle arm action. |
Pre-School Seahorse
|
|
| Swimmers will learn how to submerge their head for 10 seconds. Float and glide on their front and back without support, and will start to combine the arm and kick action of freestyle. |

Beginner Seals
|
| |
Swimmers will learn to fully submerge their heads and retrieve an object from the bottom of the pool. They will work toward combined freestyle and backstroke for 10 yards, and blowing bubbles while turning head side to side. |
Beginner Dolphins
|
|
| Swimmers will learn to use rhythmic breathing techniques. They will work toward combined freestyle and backstroke for 25 yards, and develop the basics of breaststroke. |

Intermediate Swordfish
|
| |
Swimmers will learn to tread water. They will work toward combined freestyle and backstroke for 50 yards, and use breaststroke arm and leg motions for 25 yards |
Intermediate Stingray
|
|
| Swimmers will learn compact and stride jumps. They will become proficient in freestyle and backstroke for 75 yards, and breaststroke for 75 yards. Learn dolphin kick for 50 yards. |

Advanced Sharks
|
| |
Swimmers will learn proper use of swim equipment, flip-turns, and butterfly stroke. They will become proficients in freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke for 100 yards. |
