The Advocacy Center works closely with Child Protective Services, local police departments (including Coppell P.D.), the District Attorney's Office, and sexual assault nurse examiners on the investigation and prosecution of severe child abuse cases. The agency provides free counseling and support services to the children and their non-offending family members. The Children's Advocacy Center for Denton County serves all Coppell residents regardless inwhich county they reside or their income levels. All services are free. The Family Place MetrocrestP.O. Box 112813 Carrollton, TX 75011 972-243-1611 The Family Place-Metrocrest Office provides free inpidual and group counseling to victims of domestic violence and their children who live in Coppell. In addition FPM also offers a Bullyproof program, S.T.A.R.T.- teen dating violence leadership program and a Sexual Assault Prevention program.
